ABOUT BDL
Located in Windsor Locks, CT, Bradley International Airport (BDL) is the second largest airport in New England, and serves the greater Hartford area. BDL is a dual use military facility with the U.S. Air Force, and the home of the 103rd airlift wing of the Connecticut Air National Guard.

In 1948, the federal government deeded the airport to the state of Connecticut for public and commercial use. Built in 1950, BDL’s Murphy Terminal, also called Terminal B, was the oldest passenger terminal in the U.S. before closing in 2010.

The four largest carriers at BDL are Southwest Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, and American Airlines. Other airlines serving BDL include Aer Lingus, Air Canada Express, American Eagle, Delta Connection, Frontier Airlines, Spirit Airlines, United Airlines, and United Express.
